Formentera is the smallest habituated island of the Balearic Islands. It’s located at mere 7 kilometers south of Ibiza. It has a length of 19 kilometers, a surface of 84 square kilometers and a beauty that will blow you away. It is an island blessed with endless beaches with turquoise waters, caves, forest and some mountain terrain. Formentera is without a doubt the closest thing in Europe to a Caribbean island.
Even Jules Verne used the Island as background in one of his books and made a comet crashing down on it. At worlds end, between cap de Mola and cap de Barbaria, lies this magical island and hiking here is a real break from anything Europe has to offer.
We provide different routes and levels all around Formentera island and we vary every time. Our 1-day hike is an average hike in difficulty and therefore most people can do it easily.
We also provide 4 day around Formentera Ibiza. It's about 80 km with 3 nights camping - great hike for a long weekend, starting Thursday and ending Sunday afternoon. Offcourse we will hike other days - just let us know. This is a medium-light hike and perfect for beginners.
On this route you will see La Savina port, salt lakes and natural park, long sandy beaches and crystal pure water beaches like Ses Illettes, Llevant and Migjorn, 4 pirate towers and 2 lighthouses De la Mola and De Barbaria amongst other beauty the island offers.
Join us to hike around Formentera on 2019.
